Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Joh and I’m a mother of three, a wife, and a lover of nature, peace and balance in my life. I am passionate about helping people break free of the restricted life that trauma and distress have locked them into.

I know what it's like to try hard to move past distress and trauma in your life. I've also experienced the devastation that comes when people are enveloped by that distress. I've been 'in the trenches' with people experiencing deep sadness, constant fear and feeling distant from those they care about. People who have started to think they’ll always feel this way.

I've travelled alongside people - through their doubt, guilt and frustration. I've helped them to stick with it, trust the process and be willing to try something new in the hope of a different outcome. In our work together, I have felt privileged to walk with people through the darkest of times, helping them to come through the other side to a more light-filled life.

My passion is to walk beside people who are exhausted from trying to solve things themselves and are feeling that their efforts just aren't getting them where they want to be. I love helping people to reconnect with their relationships, passions and values so that they can live a peaceful, free, valued and engaged life.

I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology and have been a clinical psychologist for ten years. I have experience working in child protection, with schools and in private practice. I am a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (Clinical College), the Australian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and the International Society for the Study of Traumatic Stress. I am an Accredited Practitioner of Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD.
